In spite of the freeze on the release of BIFFA monies awarded to our councillors for the benefit of the communities in the Vaynor ward the Cefn Community Centre has managed to buck the system and have been awarded money from the fund.This in spite of the struggle for funding to keep our After School Playgroup and our workers who now keep it going by volunteering. The Association match funded by providing free accomodaion as a result of room rental income from paying groups.
So:
Looks like more of the same - Cefn Councillors - Cefn gets preferential treatment.
Look like a painful 4 years ahead for the rest of us!
